Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | A 17.5' boat would use more than 50% of it's entire length, some of which is transom and bow area, for a locker that big. That means a huge front deck and smaller cockpit than many offer, or a side locker that has a large enough hatch that starts about 30% forward from the transom, which limits foam placement for flotation and overall design.
The 50" livewell is also a highly desired feature by walleye anglers. Standard has been 60" for a 'muskie' well. |
