Subject: hds 5x lowrance software update help


i need to update my hds 5x to version 4.0 and because i do not have a card slot i need someone that can download the 4.0 software into their hds and then connect their unit by eithernet cable to my hds 5x to transfer the software data.i have the ability to get the new 4.0 software onto a card but i do not have a way to transfer the data to my hds.anyone that has the ability to help me with this i would appreciate it.the unit is brand new and will not be used until labor day weekend when we go to canada walleye fishing. mike janesville wi.
