Location: north central wisconsin | Here's a good one. I have known the effects of bug spray for several years and have always been careful with it. The said, I left my HDS 7 on my boat to and from the landing one day this summer, and when I got home my locator looked like the one pictured above. I don't know what got on it, as there was no bug sparay used in my boat that day at all. It isn't horrible, but it is dissapointing because I almost always take them off before travelling, or at least loosen the RAM and fold them down. Wondering what was in the puddle I drove through. Could it have been a chemical in someones sprinkler system? At a loss. Just a lesson for those who may leave your electronics on your rig, even for short runs. Weird.
