Take a volt meter and read between each red wire and the black wire. In all probability one red wire will be 24V and the other will be 12V. The one red wire and black wire will be on the outsides of the two batteries with a jumper in the middle of the batteries, - to +. The other red wire most likely will be attached to that jumpered point for the 12V. Some plugs have three pins, giving you the option to run either a 12 or 24 volt trolling motor. That's my guess.
