Subject: New Ranger Tiller

Location: MN
A friend was at the NPAA Conference this weekend and got news of a new tiller which Ranger is coming out with this year, an apparent reincarnation of the Ranger 681t. Here are some of the details he mentioned. I am interested if anyone else has heard additional details about the boat and when they will become available?

I would expect given the specs below this boat will perform well as a musky/walleye rig. From the details given the boat sounds similar in specs to the discontinued 681t & 617t. The boat is longer and wider than the 681t and has higher hp rating but same hull weight. The length and width are almost exactly the same as the 617t but the biggest difference is it's 510lbs lighter! My guess is this boat should hit 35-40mph with a 75hp engine on the back.

Name: 175T Angler
Length: 17' 6"
Beam: 86"
Transom: 20"
Hull Weight: 1,000lbs
Max HP: 75hp - Hull is designed for a 60 but can take a 75hp engine.
Livewell: 50"
Rod Locker: 8ft
Layout: Similar to 618T & 620T
Colors: Can be customized
