Two things additional things I forgot to put in my first post.

First I believe GPS trails are not exact. There is some deviation from the trails. So on my recorded trails I find my boat may vary about 10-15 feet. So I would not use my recorded trails through a rock hazzard area on shield water if it meant I couldn't have a 10-20 float in trails. Where I use it though it has worked very nice.

Secondly, I do not like the cruise control or recorded trail runs in a stronger wind. The unit has a tough time compensating for those situations.

Other than the above two items to deal with I absolutely love the ipilot. I will be putting the new version on my other boat this spring.
