Awesome rig. I just got mine the first week in august. Let me tell you, this boat is a beast. You want stability, this is the boat for you. I can have 3 200+lb guys casting to one side have almost no roll in the water at all. This boat with the IPS2 hull amazes me.

I have not yet had the opportunity to run this boat in anything more than water just rolling white caps, but with a good 16" chop, there is no hull slap and the ride is not just surprisingly smooth, incredibly smooth.

I run a 2011 Predator 2010ss (and I was able to order it with the duel console) and 2011 225ProXS. I run a 21P Tempest Plus prop and the boat runs between 55-58mph at 5500rpm. I am thinking to gain extra speed, the boat requires either the motor to be raised up from its stock factory placement or a jack plate. Since I cannot get any more than 5500rpm before I start to cavitate the prop and blowing an 8ft rooster tail, raising the motor is the only way to do it. The only down side this would be slight lose in holeshot... which is where this boat really shines. I have never seen a boat this size come out of the water the way this does. About 3 seconds to fell plane.... And that is going easy on it with a 300lb dudesitting on the back jump seat filiming.

Here is the launch vid...

The guy filming runs a 2006 Nitro 929 bass boat with 225 Opti. He was not only blown away by the holeshot. but the silky smooth ride the boat provides. For a Mod V hull, this is a fast ride.
