one thing you may want to do is put a master switch in place if you don't already have one. This switch is used to cut off ALL power to all the devices attached. I always turn mine off when i don't use the boat for a few weeks. You never know, sometimes your electronics will use some battery power while they sit there unused. Even a new battery will wear down faster if its constantly drained. i would suggest a master switch regardless.
