Location: Loves Park, IL | To answer your question about the quick release bracket, They make a couple different ones for Minn Kotas. The one I had for a Power Drive Auto Pilot WAS the type that did not stick out over the edge of the boat. I had two settings for the motor position. One retracted - like what you need for your issue...and one for in-water operation. I just slid it back when there is a steep ramp. Like the others stated above, for shallower ramps, it did not need to be retracted. |
