Well today was not a good day for me. After fishing lake waconia for 5 hours and getting skunked I headed home with my tail between my legs. After I backed into my driveway I got out of my car to lower my motor so I could enter the garage only to smell something burning. After some inspection I found that my bearings in my left rear tire were smoking. I spent most of the day taking it apart and trying to get the nut pried off of the axel. Finally with a lot of work and effort I accomplish the task only to find my bearings fused to the axel as well.

So......I have my boat in my driveway and can't drive it to a repair shop because I am missing a tire and the trailer lowers to the pavement when not on a jack. I am thinking that I may be able to find someone who has a cutting torch to take these off, but I may need to fix the threads as they were damaged as well. I am no expert at this by any means.

Does anyone know of someone who can help or does this type of work who would be willing to make a house call? This site has been great for getting information and I am in major need of help right now. Please let me know if you have any advice/suggestions/contacts et.... I will be back racking my brain on this in the a.m -
By the way I have a Tuiffy 1890 with a tandem axel "Tuff" trailer by trailmaster.

Tony
