Just bought a (new to me) 620. FYI - The various owner's manuals say:
Evinrude (225 Etec) - use the built in trailering bracket
Johnson (9.9) - always use a transom saver
Ranger - always use a transom saver
The dealer told me always use a transom saver. I think I will!
