I've got an 06' 620 and fish St. Clair religiously with zero problems in big water. I've fished several times out of an 05' which seems to ride just a little bit better in big rough water. To be honest, all the 620 hulls are great and the newer ones will tackle big water better but I've still haven't gotten wet in my 06' hull even in the roughest conditions. It's all gonna depend on how big of water you fish...but don't shy away from any year model from 05' till present. The 06' hull is a faster hull and the keel is not as steep as the newer ones but still handles like a champ. My next 620 will have the deeper keel but only because it would be a newer model year. I love my 06' 620! So far it's been flawless on LSC.
