Hiya,

If you would, please take a picture of the side of the boat including the trailer and wheels. I have the same boat with a little lighter motor. and a shoreland'r trailer. From the back edge of the tail light to the rear U-bolt that mounts the axle spring to the frame is 47-1/2". I can lift my toungue, but 300 pounds is way too much...it should be half that.

My guess is the trailer axle is not correctly postioned...
