When I sold a front mount TM I simply "wrapped" it in a cardboard box. Take one big box, a box cutter knife and packaging tape and start cutting the box down to fit around the TM. Use tape liberally and where needed. You can also use to boxes (1 top/1 bottom) and do the same as above and overlap the ends of the boxes. Really any cardboard will work....doesn't have to be a box.
If you don't have boxes, go to a local liquor store or beverage center. They usually have boxes that are strong and will give you for free. Or go to a UHaul store and buy boxes from them. A wardrobe box should be plenty big.
Then find a place that ships UPS or FedEx but not a UPS Store or FedEx Store. Lots of places have signs in their window that say "we ship UPS". The UHaul store where you bought the box might do it for you if you ask.
To get approx. shipping costs you can go to UPS.com or FedEx.com to get estimated shipping costs.
I shipped a cable drive TM from northern WI to TX doing it this way and their was no problem at all. TM's are tough SOB's..you don't have to put bubble wrap on them....just cover it iin cardboard and you're good to go.
