Location: syracuse indiana		if you can afford it, do it, if you plan on keeping the boat for a few more years. now i have a original 1998 optimax that still runs like new and never gives me problems, but i do maintain her offten probly more so than others and i run a cocktail in the motor all the time. and that is
1 oz stabil marine
1 oz mercury quick clean
2 oz of seafoam
all this is added to 6 gal of gas.
this really helps on these motors and is approved by mercury
