interesting...the press release included a hint/reference to the potential for future Lakemaster mapping products exclusive to the Humminbird units.

Some of the features of LM are already exclusive to 'bird(contour shading being one of them).

Many were hoping to see contour shading as an option on the 4.0 update for the HDS. I've been told bigger and better things in the works..... At any rate, in 2-5 years, we'll look back at this thread and laugh at ourselves for even talking about this.
