Also, that motor is a carbed 2+2, running on two cylinders under 1800rpm and 4 over. Might need new plugs.
You know, I completely forgot it does that. I'm betting I do need a new set... I'm on 2 years with these. Usually get a new set each spring, but got lazy this year.

Jimtenhaaf, My 04 125 did the same thing. Depending on what kind of bboat you are running you maybe able to start trimming it as it is coming out of your hole shot. I was able to do it on my Crestliner. It popped out of the water very quick like that. My dad has a Fisher with a 04 125 Merc. and it does the same shaking trimmed all the way down. Same thing start trimming the motor up as soon as the bow is starting to drop.
Yeah, I'm able to start trimming it back up quite quickly. And the faster I raise it, the better it comes out of the hole, and onto plane. |
