My only recomendation is to not add any lighting at all. It makes the inside of your boat bright but everything outside black as night. I fish at night w/ only my anchor light on, and my eyes adjust really well. That way I can see milfoil matted on the surface, and can kind of see my lure as it comes in. I can't see any of that when I have lights on in the boat. I know others will disagree, and I'm sure you'll be hearing from them shortly.
