Location: Eden Prairie & Pine Island | Wdykstra, Beware dude...I had a 2000 Ficht 200 which ran fine until this year...oil pump went out and sensor did not pick it up...pistons seized and one rod broke through the engine...needed new engine. I learned through the grape vine that those Ficht engines have lots and lots of problems with the fuel pump and sensor and were a contributing factor to OMC's bankruptcy and sell out to Bombardier. You might want to consider replacing the fuel pump and sensor anyway...cheaper than the alternative casue when it goes you are hosed. Good luck. |
