On my Optimax when the motor is trimmed way up (prop still in the water) I get water coming out of the hose ( about 2" around where the cables and such run through) and out the seam of the cover. If the motor is trimmed down this doesn't happen. I take the cover off and do not see any water. Is this something that is normal or not just with the angle of the motor.
