Might be talking out my (donkey) here, but my guess is it would matter what brand of TM you're running. Reason I say this, is I had to reconfigure my boat battery wires and the 12/24v termination plug when I sold MotorGuide and put the Terrova on my Alumacraft. It came from the factory wired for a MotorGuide. I remember having to get a short battery "jumper" wire to make my configuration proper for a MinnKota.
