Location: Elgin, IL		Use one all the time, as stated above, cheap insurance.

I also glued 2 pieces of felt commercial carpet padding to the pads that support the lower unit....they keep the metal or plastic from scratching the white paint on my old Johnson. works really well if you are worried about it.
