Location: NW WI		I had a 3 bank Dual Pro in one boat and a 3 bank Pro Mariner in the other. The Dual Pro got warm..like lukewarm water. The Pro Mariner got HOT to the touch. Both worked just fine and I had the Pro Mariner in a tight area. BUT...if you have options, like anything electric, mount it where it gets the best ventilation and in the case of a charger, if you have to buy extension cables so charger gets better ventilation, that's the better way to go.
