I have a Richter anchor for my 620 and it holds fine, except for some of the slimey reefs that have mostly flat rocks on them. It will do ok on sand unless your boat starts bouncing and jerking on the rope which is a good time for a drop n stay. If you don't fish rocks I would consider a waterspike. They are much lighter. I had to upsize my Richter and the one I have is very heavy. The waterspike is very light and fits in a compartment much better.
