I'll third the interstate batteries.

Scoff if you want, but I've got a 29 series Everstart starting/cranking battery in the boat now and that thing is pretty beastly. 875 cranking amps. Not a bad price, decent warranty and they seem to last.

I've had batteries that have been around a decade, and some that were literally junk when I purchased them and put them in the boat, and everything in between. But the one thing they all had in common........they ALL
died eventually. At least so far, price hasn't seemed to be a determining factor.
