I think it comes down to what you like. Over the years I've had white, gray, blue, green, and brown boats, (I've had lots of boats).

Over all I think I've had my best luck on boatside muskies with a green boat, but I really don't have any scientific records to prove this one way or the other,

I've caught many fish on figure-8s out of every color boat, and so have my boat partners.

I wouldn't worry about it too much! Go with what looks good to you.
