This has been discussed more than once on here and the vast majority of opinions agree that it doesn't matter. If your trolling motor, kicker, big shiny prop, propwash while trolling, and the overal presence and sillouette of the boat doesn't bother a fish that will shoot out from underneath and hit a bait, color sure as heck won't either.
