What are some indications your impeller is going bad/drying out/whatever it is they do?

No real inticators , what happens is the blades on the impeller will bend over not forcing good water pressure, or fall apart & restrict water flow or worse keeping the impeller from spinning all together...Not GOOD, i would DEFINETLY not run my motor impeller for more then 2 years...Not worth it to me!!!
