Location: Stevens Point, WI		The LGC-4000 cost an extra $250, not everyone wants to spend that extra money, and they certainly don't have to with the built in puck that the HDS units have.

From what I can tell, he's just wanting the ability to share waypoints and other gps data. The Ethernet cable is all he needs in order to do that.
