Subject: RE: ranger 681 Vs

I own a 681c and have fished out of a 681vs a lot. There really are not many noticable differences in them. The vs extra 10" makes it seem a little bigger but not enuff that I would make my descision based on that alone. They will both run about from 47-52mph depending on how they are equipped and loading. I run mine in waves that are consistently 3-4ft and sometimes larger due to large and heavy pleasure boat traffic. I have only been wet a couple times and have never really felt unsafe, you just have to pick your spots. I have had mine for 8yrs and would definitely go the same route if I was buying another one tomorrow. Hope that helps.
