I'm planning on getting a new Terrova this spring which I've heard good things about. I'm trying to decide if i should get a good quality on board charger when i get it hooked up. Do they make a big difference as far extending the charge life (battery) during a day and are they are hard on the batteries. I always feel like i'm trying to conserve my batteries during a long day of fishing and if it's windy everyone knows how that can take its tole. If you do recommend them what would you recommend.

80# Thrust Terrova
24 Volt- 2 good quality batteries up front

Thanks everyone!
