Location: Minnesota		A good friend of mine just sent the exact same unit in to Lowrance last week. They said they won't even open it up to look at it. They are going to try and get it to power up and see what the problem is and if it won't work they will be working out a deal with him on an upgrade.
Knowing that Lowrance won't service this unit - I wouldn't spend more than about $100 on it. But there are people out there with money burning holes in their wallets - go get em and good luck.
