Yar Craft is built in Wausau Wisconsin at the Norlen facility, and is well built. The fact it's a 2007 doesn't make it real attractive if the intent is to sell the rig within a couple years, but if the deal is good enough, it's a great boat, and if the intent is to keep it for a few years, the model year isn't that important. Make sure the front deck is what you need, I like larger decks personally.

The Ranger also is a great boat. What you need to do is look at both and compare the layout and features, and decide if $5K is well spent based on your personal needs and wants or if the Yar Craft does it for you.
