Location: Stevens Point, WI | The customer service people know the stuff, but they don't know the stuff in quite the detail as some. When calling customer service with any issues, make sure you explain everything in-depth and very precise. I'm guessing here but maybe they did not realize the temp gauge was a big deal to you. They fixed your unit so it worked again without realizing the temp sensor is different with that transducer and unit.
Also, anytime your using or replacing a unit, being able to use the old transducer doesn't always work, but in your instance it did. |
