Location: Racine, Wi | Amen to that. I had that problem a few falls ago, and it's not fun running back on a TM when your wife is expecting you home to relieve her of child duties. Well, it's not bad at the time as it extends the fishing time for me, but then I have to deal wrath of the wife when I get home 4 hours later than expected.

Another good thing for this time of year if you are running your electronics all day and or other items on the boat is too make sure you either charge the battery the night before real good or run the main outboard once in a while to help keeping a charge on the starting battery. They can drain in this weather pretty quick. Happened to my brother in-law a couple of weeks ago. He had to get in to get his fish registered before end of time. He took my boat back and I took his boat in using the trolling motor. |
