Another good thing for this time of year if you are running your electronics all day and or other items on the boat is too make sure you either charge the battery the night before real good or run the main outboard once in a while to help keeping a charge on the starting battery. They can drain in this weather pretty quick. Happened to my brother in-law a couple of weeks ago. He had to get in to get his fish registered before end of time. He took my boat back and I took his boat in using the trolling motor.
