Location: north central wisconsin		Yup, for me, the 1.6 and 1.7 have been the best software updates for my lcx 111 unit, sonar-wise. I know there are other features I am missing out on, but my sonar works the best in all conditions I face, with the 1.6 or 7 vs the 2+ updates.

I'll take a look at the 3.5 a bit further, and perhaps run the new software. Thanks for the info man!
