Subject: Minnkota Maxxum loose steering

Location: Cohasset, MN		I've run out of travel on the tension screw for the steering. It self steers in circles under even low power. The Minnkota rep's only suggestion was take it to a authorized service center. Before I pull it apart myself I thought I'd ask if anyone else has run in to this ? Might this be an easy home fix ? Thanks.
