Subject: Mercury optimax 115 vs. Yamaha 115 4 stroke


I am looking at buying a used boat and the boats I am looking at have 2 options a Mercury 115 optimax or a Yamaha 115 4 stroke. Which would be a better motor for fishing 90% and towing my young son skiing 10% of the time? This is for a 17' bass boat.
