I think you have the best of both worlds. My buddy has the 05' 620 hull and I have a 06' 620 hull w/ 08 225hp E-Tec. I've been in his 05' many times and have to admit the hull handles big waves better than my 06'. Although both hulls are great and handle big water fine. You'll love the E-Tec as it's fast and quiet with little maitenance. I would guess you'll push over the 55mph mark with that outboard and hull. In my opinion you have a great combination and you can't go wrong. I love my E-Tec and 620. Go for it!!!
