Subject: Transfer Lowrance Waypoints to MMC Card?

Location: North/Central WI		I need to transfer my waypoints from my 520C to a card. I bought what I believe is the correct card, yet everytime I try to transfer my data it tells me to "insert mmc card." Does the card need to be formatted or do I have some other issue?
