Location: Seymour, WI | I bought a new snowmobile trailer with oil bath hubs a few yrs ago and asked the dealer what I needed to do to maintain the hubs... he said "you don't need to do anything" I was used to pumping my bearing buddies full of grease every time I pulled the boat or snowmobiles and I had a hard time believing that they did't need any maintenance at all. Then he said "these are the same type of hubs they use on semi -trailers and they recommend you change the oil ever 250,000 miles." I don't think I'll put that many miles on my boat trailer even in several lifetimes.
