Location: Davenport, IA		I have a Javelin Venom 17. It is 16'8" and has a 115. Its very easy to fish from with large decks. The boat is actually pretty good in rough water. Now If I was fishing Mille Lacs regularly I would not choose such a boat. But a lot of us fish lakes under 10,000 acres. Only thing that I do not like about it is not having a kicker because I fish a lot of horsepower restricted lakes and would like to troll on them.
