Location: Birchwood, WI.		Sounds like the transducer might be bad, every time i would hit the power button my depth reading would go crazy & lines would come across the screen. Had a new transducer put in, works fine now !! MINE WAS STILL UNDER WARRENTY..BUT THE DUCER WAS $112 & 1/2 HOUR OF LABOR AT A LOCAL SERVICE CENTER... MY 2 CENTS... GOOD LUCK!!
