Try it with a new prop. If you get the same results the motor is probably in need of some work. But I'd be more inclined to think it is the prop losing some cup from wear. Only other posibility is the hull is dirty or warping and that's not likely, is it?. If you read any of the bass board posts about props it is common for a prop to lose cup after some years of use.
