I had a 95 merc 175 xri on a 690 and didn't come close to burning that much fuel. I could fish a long weekend (3) days hitting 4 to 5 lakes on one tank and still have some to spare. Granted these are Northern WI lakes being quite small, but come on.......30 gallons a day? Something is wrong with that motor.
