Just out of curiousity, what do you consider going through a lot of gas? In a full day of fishing, running and gunning all day, I would say I go through 10-12 gallons with my 1996 150 EFI on a 191DC Champion. (Not sure if that's an XR series or what.) Probably go through 4-7 in an evening depending how many long runs I'm making because I'm not moving fish and think they're on the other side of the lake!



He's comparing it against a motor he used to have on a different boat.
