Location: Northwest Wi.		I use a shorter light-(24 in.) in the back of the boat when using the the bow mount troller on a spot (weedbed, rock pile) at night. I cover the half of the light that faces the inside of the boat with duct tape. This kills the glare but lets light out, When I go to take off I put in a 48 in. light with no cover. The shorter light also makes casting in the back much nicer.
