The quick disconnect is not standard equipment on Powerdrives, that't not to say that he did not put an after market one on. Take a look on Cabelas website and look at the quick disconnects, there are only a few that fit Powerdrives and you will be able to tell if your TM has one. The one I have slides off and there is a screw that goes into the side of the bracket to hold it in place. From what your describing I'm guessing it doesn't have one as it is fairly obvious if there is one installed.
