Subject: Transducer Question


I mounted my new transducer and I have 2 problems.

1) I cannot get it just right so it doesn't create a rooster tail by dragging in the water ... how do I mount this dang thing correctly?

2) It doesn't read bottom correctly at high speeds

I assume the 2 problems are tied together. Any help would be appreciated.
